You can see our community venues for 2025 below to get an idea of what venues are available for artists who don’t have a home studio.

  1. St Anne’s House (Bricks), BS4 4AB – An old cardboard mill, this creative community hub by St Anne’s Wood is home to Bricks Bristol, with artist studios, a cooperative gym and rooms to hire, as well as housing wellbeing, therapy and other local and community activities. St Anne’s House Artist Open Studios will be on all weekend, with evening events, workshops and performances, as well as a cafe, bar and food stalls. There will be space for artists to hang work on the wall and have a table to sell their work. Please contact Erin for all the info, along with a short description of your practice and a link to your work online, or attach a few small images (<4mb): erin@bricksbristol.org – to book your space, please email Erin before 12th March. Please note there is an additional fee of £30 +VAT (£36) for the weekend to be part of this community venue.
  2. Arnos Vale Cemetery – There are 12 spaces in the Spielman Centre and 14 spaces in the Anglican Chapel. Please fill out the venue application form linked to here before 26th March: https://forms.gle/kuxFyyaZNLQyKK299. Tables (choice of 5ft or 6ft) and chairs are available for no extra charge. There is a lovely cafe on site that will be open 10-4pm both days. Please note there is an additional fee of £35 to be part of this community venue.
  3. Hop Union Brewery, 20 Bonville Rd, BS4 5QH – A fun craft brewery with indoor and outdoor display space. Contact Iwan for more info and to apply: Taproom@hopunionbrewery.co.uk. Please note this venue has a slightly later start time of 12pm both days.
  4. St Cuthbert’s Church, Sandy Park Rd, BS4 4HQ – A large and popular church with loads of light. Some tables available. No wall space. Please note, this venue has a slightly later 11.30am start on the Sunday. To book your space, please email naomi@thesetwohands.co.uk . There is an additional fee of £15 for the weekend to be part of this community venue. 16 spaces
  5. The Glass Loft, Regency House, Brislington, BS4 5QH – a lovely light and airy glass studio with space for up to 6 artists/makers. 2 in the downstairs reception, 2 in the upstairs foyer and 2 in the main 1st Floor studio with Fiona. Please note the studio venue is only accessible via stairs. Refreshments offered for a donation in aid of cancer research. Please email Fiona glassfiona@hotmail.co.uk to organise a place.
  6. The Langton Pub, Langton Ct Rd, BS4 4EG – Two lovely rooms at a busy local pub.
    Function room upstairs (please note: ONLY accessible via stairs, no lift available).
    Second room ground floor in the restaurant/cafe part of the pub (fully accessible).
