Because there is such an incredible creative community in our area and we’ve never had our own arts trail. The excitement we have seen and heard since we decided to organise this event has been amazing. The support of the community and the number of applications has been way more than we dared to imagine. We can’t wait to share the brilliant makers on our doorstep and open our doors.
We wanted this arts trail to be much wider than the traditional definition of an arts trail too. So many people said they would love to take part but they don’t see themselves as an “artist”. This trail is to celebrate all forms of creativity and connection – movement, sound, wellbeing, crafts and art. As well as artists, potters, jewellers, printers, woodcarvers and other makers, there will be pilates and yoga workshops, art journalling, massage, essential oils, kids workshops and more. Come and celebrate community and creativity with us over the summer solstice weekend!

Will there be another arts trail in 2024
